About the conference

Empress Catherine II Saint Petersburg Mining University is scheduled to hold an international scientific and practical conference "Transport. Future Vision" - TFV-24 on November 7-8, 2024, dedicated to the discussion of current problems of creation and implementation of innovative solutions and modern technologies in the field of transportation.

The conference will be attended by representatives of authorities, companies-developers and manufacturers of innovative vehicles and advanced transport technologies, enterprises of industrial complex, scientific, educational and public organizations.

During the conference, issues of the functioning of the transport complex, achievements in the development of transport technologies for highly automated and autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, alternative fuels, big data and artificial intelligence will be discussed in order to improve traffic management and transport operation systems, allowing for the introduction of safer, more efficient and sustainable intelligent transport systems. 

Aim and thematic areas of the conference

The conference is held to form a platform for interdisciplinary and intersectoral interaction to discuss the latest achievements in the field of improving transportation and infrastructure facilities.

Empress Catherine II Saint Petersburg Mining University is a leading higher polytechnic educational institution that trains highly qualified engineering personnel in all specialities required to ensure the operation of the mineral and raw materials complex – from prospecting and exploration of minerals to the final product.

Conditions and form of participation

General information

The conference is held in the form of scientific reports.

Working language: Russian and English.

The conference program will include:

- reports of managers and leading specialists of government and commercial organizations, Russian and foreign experts in the field of electric, autonomous and smart transport;

- scientific presentations by scientists and research engineers;

- question and answer sessions, discussions of the participants.

Form of participation

- full-time - presentation of the report within the framework of the conference program;

- extramural - remote presentation and publication of the report in the collection;

- as a listener - participation in discussions and Q&A session.

In case of online participation the conference is held in the format of videoconferencing on the MTSLink platform

Conditions of participation

Those wishing to participate in the conference should register on the conference website before October 18, 2024, by filling in the registration form and submitting the articles prepared in accordance with the requirements.

In case several participants present one paper, each co-author must register separately on the conference website.

During the qualifying stage of the conference the abstracts of registered participants will undergo the review procedure.

The lists of participants of the sectional sessions will be formed based on the results of the qualifying stage of the conference.
